At St Bernard’s, we believe every child and adult is precious in God’s eyes. Guided by our mission — “Together as a family community we aim to shine and achieve” — we are committed to nurturing the mental health and wellbeing of all pupils, staff, and families.

We promote a caring, respectful, and supportive environment where everyone feels valued, listened to, and encouraged to be the best they can be. Positive mental health is everyone’s responsibility, and we work together to create a community built on love, kindness, and understanding.

Through our curriculum, pastoral care, and partnerships with parents and external agencies, we help children understand their emotions, build resilience, and know where to seek support. Staff wellbeing is also a priority & we promote a healthy work-life balance, open communication, and access to support when needed.

At St Bernard’s, we follow Jesus’ example: to love God, love each other, forgive, and bring joy to others ensuring our school remains a place where everyone can learn, grow, and flourish in mind, body, and spirit.
